If you thought that chairs were designed only for the comfort of your lovely behind and an aching back, then you are wrong because they may also be designed just for the purpose of decoration, as ornaments for your back lawn. Okay, well, I’m taking it a bit far with that comment, but these disc-shaped chairs could very well be placed upon your half-dead brown grassed lawn to give it a sense of life and beauty.

Designed by Karim Rashid, the disc chairs can be used both inside the house and outdoors. These easy to carry chairs are available in three cheerily bright colours- red, yellow and simplistic white. The chairs have been made from fiberglass and are designed to give a comforting rocking effect when you lean back, plus they come with foam upholstered cushions for extra comfort. Rashid’s inspiration of Verner Panton’s 1973 designs would be perfect for pool-side parties and would be a big hit with kids. The only negative side to the chairs is that they come at a highly extravagant price of 1388 euros.
