Gary Fisher Designs El ranchero, A Cool Bike

August 19th, 2008

If you stay in the middle of arid mid-west, you would know how important it is to own a bike. You may have to ride it not just for fun, but to get the groceries, to drop your kid bro to school a couple of miles away and a host of other things. Gary Fisher has thus designed El Ranchero, which according to him is designed to ‘do things’. A lot of things we suppose. Though the bike is still in the concept stages, the bike is cool enough to make us want more of it.
The bike has been designed in a long way includes an extra saddle, bar, and foot rests for a child at the back. It also comes with detachable bags and a double kickstand. Fisher claims it can be used ijn an urban setting, which we doubt. Looking at the design, it becomes rather clear that it is a chic design but meant for the rugged outdoors and rural areas far from the hustle-bustle of the town.
