Experience Recorder: a Glove that Records Your Whole Objective Experience

August 29th, 2008

Technology enhanced haptic perception reaches new heights with the Experience Recorder. Designed by Valeria Fuso, the Experience Recorder literally fits like a stylish glove on your hand and records photos, sounds, movements and even temperature. As if the design and features of this gadget is not enough to rouse the interest of consumers, Fuso prefers to advertise the product with a tagline which was a famous quote by Italian designer Achille Castiglioni, “Design not just products, design behaviour”.

The many features of the Experience Recorder includes a movement sensor, audio recorder, still-image/video camera, thermometer, and wireless computer connection. It can function on both manual and auto mode, deciding by itself which information to collect. On manual mode, the user exploits the features of the Experience Recorder through sensors in the fingers of the glove. The main toggle switch on the wrists helps move from manual to auto mode. Other instructions help the user understand how to take videos, record sound, etc. Imagine getting rid of your bulky cameras for just one glove that would do as much and more!
