Gorenje Qube Concept Floors Visitors at IFA 2008

September 2nd, 2008

The changing times brings about a great change in the look of our living spaces. Gorenje brings home decor to a new level that leaves it sleek and polished. Qube, the conceptual project by Gorenje, is a result of their in-house development that was presented at the IFA 2008. Gorenje floored visitors with their innovative and futuristic designs. The rooms are built with elevated floors or suspended ceilings with hidden plumbing, considered perfect for remodelling spaces that are not restricted by walls.

To add to the glamour of the spaces, the appliances are all shiny black with metal-white outline and handles with colour-adjustable lighting. The free-standing concept of the appliances was another thing that caught the visitors’ eyes. A brand new innovation is the foldable cooking hob, installed on a wall and which unfolds to make a cooking hob with a kitchen hood. Every appliance has been designed with the intention of saving space and they appear not just practical but extremely elegant: the homes of tomorrow.
