Selk Bag: Wearable Sleeping Bag by Lippi

September 4th, 2008

Sleeping bags give us the feeling that we are little kids packed away for the night until the sun arrives and someone releases us from our protective cocoon. It may keep us snug and cosy but it leaves such little room to move around, stretch our legs and hug the person lying next to us. If you feel it difficult to sleep in the traditional sleeping bag then the Wearable Sleeping bag would sure please you a lot. The wearable sleeping bag appears similar to a single piece warm feather lined jacket and pants.

The Lippi Selk Bag is the new and improved wearable sleeping, version 2.0. it is made from durable nylon taffeta 310T/66D with a soft-touch shell and has micro-fiber polyester insulation to keep you warm enough while camping out. It is fitted with double front YKK zippers with drawcord, and extended right hip (YKK) zippers of reversible type. The soles are reinforced nylon and the Selk bag comes with a hood attached. The Selk bag is available in two colours, royal blue/navy blue and teal/white, and is being sold at $228. With the stuff sack, the Selk bag would weigh 3 to 4 lbs, depending upon the size of the bag (user height: M/L/XL).
