Da Vinci Alarm Clock Ensures You Only Sleep Four Hours

September 19th, 2008

If you watched the Da Vinci Code and wondered if daylight saving time can really help you, then perhaps this new clock just might interest you. You don’t have to be a master cryptographer to reap its benefits and avail its excellent time saving mechanism. Instead of setting the time back by one hour, the Da Vinci Alarm Clock will ensure that you get 21hours of waking time without wasting too much time on sleep for a most productive day.

Designed by Marc Owens, the alarm clock helps stick to a 3.5/.5 sleep schedule. The clock displays the words AWAKE or SLEEP instead of time, the first for three and half hours and the latter for half an hour in a four hour cycle that repeats six times a day. Following this simple instruction would give the user, supposedly, 21hours of waking time without feeling drowsy or drained out. If this really works, it would be great but I think it would be slightly hard to convince your boss you need a half hour of sleep for optimum performance during an office meeting.
