Taking pictures from the same old angle gets boring after a while. People want to be able to throw their cameras into the air and take pictures of everything that is happening down below. The aerial camera Skyros can take pictures from up to 120 feet high and is capable of prescreening photos with an inbuilt sensor. Designed by Siddharth Kambe, can be launched into the air where it takes pictures as it flies back to the user. Once the camera is linked to its base, the pictures can be viewed and desired shot retained. Inbuilt sensors ensure that the camera boomerangs back to the user so that no skills in controlling the camera are required.
Small enough to be held by hand, Skyros can also be used in the manual mode. Also, the protective rings around the camera can be transformed to work as a tripod so that the camera can be launched from the ground. Still only at the prototypic stage, Skyros contains a pneumatic cylinder, CO2 canister, RF transmitter/receiver, microprocessor, battery and LCD screen. Apart from looking really cool, Skyros is easier and takes lesser time for manufacturing.

Technology enhanced haptic perception reaches new heights with the Experience Recorder. Designed by Valeria Fuso, the Experience Recorder literally fits like a stylish glove on your hand and records photos, sounds, movements and even temperature. As if the design and features of this gadget is not enough to rouse the interest of consumers, Fuso prefers to advertise the product with a tagline which was a famous quote by Italian designer Achille Castiglioni, “Design not just products, design behaviourâ€.
The many features of the Experience Recorder includes a movement sensor, audio recorder, still-image/video camera, thermometer, and wireless computer connection. It can function on both manual and auto mode, deciding by itself which information to collect. On manual mode, the user exploits the features of the Experience Recorder through sensors in the fingers of the glove. The main toggle switch on the wrists helps move from manual to auto mode. Other instructions help the user understand how to take videos, record sound, etc. Imagine getting rid of your bulky cameras for just one glove that would do as much and more!
