The toaster spit out burnt bread, the traffic is horrible and your boss refuses to let you take a break from work. You’re losing your mind and all you want to do at the end of the day is vent out all your frustrations on the punching bag, but the gym is closed, too!
It doesn’t matter because you can head right home and punch the lights on. Punch the !ighting is a punching bag with an LED light within that would switch on once you start punching the bag. Designed by Jum Bum Park and Kim Jin Sook, the punching bag light is meant to de-stress and refresh your mind. This would be a great product to have around if you are often stressed out into throwing and breaking your favourite things. You get to punch this and still be left with the lights intact.
Rosta: Bike with Comfortable Seating Position
Thursday, September 25th, 2008 |Tags: bicycle, bike, cycling, exercise, Rosta

A bike ride is always a pleasure. You are going slow enough to watch the kids running by and smell the flowers alongside the path. But you have overdone yourself; you are tired, your back and neck are aching, not to mention that very sensitive part of your body that is sitting upon the seat. You really need to change your position but it is impossible to do so.
The Rosta has been designed with this discomfort in mind. The bicycle is designed so that the user is seated in the most comfortable position on the bike, which turns out to be lying halfway upon the bike. This position takes most of the strain off your upper body, relieving you from those deadly back aches. With comfort as the highest priority, the design of the bike came up after intensive research into this.
The Rosta also looks extremely sleek and unlike any other bike on the road. It appears as though it is a cross between a futuristic bike and an exercise bicycle. Whatever may be the design, the cost of manufacturing this would definitely be very high.

Self-Sustainable Chair: Inflate Your Butt into a Chair
Wednesday, September 24th, 2008 |Tags: Chair, exercise, Furniture, jooyoun paek, Self-Sustainable Chair

You’re taking that brisk walk early in the morning to lose the extra two inches of fat and all of a sudden you just need to take a break and sit down for a while. But you’re not in a park and there is no place to sit down. If only you were wearing the right type of clothing for the occasion.
If the idea of a piece of clothing that can help you take a comfortable seat confuses you, then let JooYoun Paek educate you. Paek has created the Self-Sustainable Chair which would be a part of your wardrobe. This wearable piece of furniture works by inflating into the guise of a bean bag through air pumps that can be worn as shoes. Your butt literally inflates as you walk so that you are ready to sit back and relax upon your over-inflated behind.
The Self-Sustainable Chair came as part of a project that suggested that walking and resting could be balanced by rethinking the utility of what we wore. Just don’t let anybody tease you about your big booty!
