You may go green with envy every time you hear someone talk about their expensive cruise trip where they sunbathed on an expansive deck, or the even more fortunate who can take their luxury yachts for sailing and more sunbathing every weekend. But all that may soon become a thing of the past. Cleanse your system of all that green noxious emotions and treat yourself to a great tan with the help of a Volkswagen. The new coupe model by the company, Topos Caddy Sail Design, holds a unique design that allows you to transform the top of your van to a sailboat style deck.

The roof of the Topos Caddy appears similar to a boat deck, with pinstriped wood panels and aluminium rails. The wooden roof can be propped up to resemble a sun deck or deck chair. The back of the van is fitted with a wooden ladder that gives you easy access to the roof and the wood style is seen in the wooden rear bumper and van sides. The Topos Caddy Sail Design is set to make an entry into the Dusseldorf Caravan Salon, Europe’s largest recreational vehicle show. The Topos Caddy is styled after the nautical theme of this year’s event and is a favourite to emerge winner because of the 20 year reign Volkswagen has enjoyed as the only vehicle manufacturer with its own camper.
